Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan

Some of the items they have for sale are exquisite hand-made scarves, bags, jewelry, and books.

The goals of Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan are to advance education and educational opportunities for Afghan women and their families; and to educate and increase the understanding of Canadians about human rights in Afghanistan.

Seva

Seva Canada Society was founded in 1982 to eliminate preventable blindness and restore sight.

Seva (pronounced say-va) is a Sanskrit word for service; we believe in compassion in action.

Seva provides funding and expertise to partners in 7 developing countries and regions: Nepal, Tibet, India, Tanzania and eastern Africa, Guatemala, Cambodia and Egypt- to deliver community and clinical eye care programs that reach the most vulnerable populations - women and children, the very poor and those living in rural areas.
